Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2025

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies horizon-time.com uses, why we use them, and how you control them.

The English version of this document is the governing version.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember choices you made and can be used for analytics. We also use your browser's local storage for similar preference purposes — the same rules apply.

NamePurposeDurationType
ht_consentRemembers your cookie consent choice so we don't ask on every visit6 monthsEssential

_ga, _ga_*Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic statistics. Set ONLY after you click 'Accept all' on the consent banner.Up to 24 monthsAnalytics (consent required)

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Until you accept, our site runs Google Consent Mode v2 in 'denied' state: the Google tag loads but sets no analytics cookies and sends only cookieless, anonymous pings. Accepting upgrades to full analytics; declining keeps analytics off. Your choice is stored in the ht_consent cookie for 6 months.

Note: consent mode governs Google tags. Any non-Google scripts we may add are reviewed to respect the same choice.

You can change your decision at any time: use the 'Cookie preferences' link in the page footer to reset your choice — the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also delete the ht_consent cookie (or all site data) in your browser settings.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings (e.g. Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies). Blocking the essential ht_consent cookie simply means the banner will reappear on future visits; the site itself works without analytics cookies.
